As part of its business practice, Birotehnik d.o.o. will grant scholarships to students during their education, and secure jobs for them upon completion of education. Exceptional interest and motivation during the practical training was exhibited by the student Danijel Burić (sophomore year graphic designer), and therefore on 7 February 2018 the director of Birotehnik, parents and student have signed a scholarship contract, and the company obliged to secure a job for the student upon the completion of education.  

The school has cooperated for many years with the printing office Birotehnik d.o.o. from Oroslavje, and the company has allowed the students to complete practical training during the school year and summer vacation. The students who complete the practical training at Birotehnik usually have secured a job at the printing office upon the completion of their education.  

The reform of trade education is one of the priorities emphasized by the minister of science and education Blaženka Divjak. The development of trade school and educational programs through improvement of facilities, materials and personnel also emphasizes the possibility to realize work-based learning according to the necessities of local and regional job markets. Only in this way the conditions for strengthening the trade education will be achieved, as well as the school-leaving competencies of students that are necessary for job market.  

With this in mind, the school has used the existing economic opportunities to strengthen its trade programs in the sector of GRAPHICS TECHNOLOGIES for preparation graphic designers, finishing graphic designers, printing graphic designers and graphic technicians.  It defined the needs more clearly and established the cooperation between the education and real sector.  To improve its developmental capacities and promote vocations in this sector, the school has achieved high-quality cooperation with local partners. Everyone agrees that the economy and educational system need certain changes, and this example of socially responsible management proves that they are achievable.
